Loving Connection
As beings in a dualistic world, we have a strong tendency to engage in all kinds of confrontation, comparison, and criticism of everything that we ourselves are not connected to and that we therefore cannot yet properly understand or accept. That which we are not connected to can frighten us, or if we are not yet aware of our fear, anger us. True connection is the basis for an encounter that can at best lead to the recognition of our fear and recognition of what we previously experienced as separate from ourselves. From here there is a chance for constructive interaction and the improvement of the relationship through gradual acceptance, which at best always leads to something new.
Whether it is a person's inner world; his relationship with himself - the collection of different aspects of her/himself that are more or less separate from each other; or his outer world, his relationship with others - the collection of people who are more or less separate from themselves and from others; his relationship with nature or other lifeforms, the same challenges face us. Where there is no connection, there is no real encounter. Where there is no real encounter, there is no improvement in the relationship in question. We immediately see how our inner growth, or the harmonious union of our inner aspects, directly affects the improvement of our outer relationships. Of course, this also works the other way around: If there is even one person close to us who genuinely accepts us as we are, is present for us and wishes us the best, it promotes our possibilities for healing.
If there are contradictions within us, it is also reflected in our society as various contradictions. A typical such opposition is between science and spirit or spirituality. I do not say between science and religion here, because many of us immediately associate the word religion with different interpretations, rules, customs or rituals of different religious denominations, through which a person may be guided from the outside to practice their communion with God only in a certain permitted way. The hierarchical systems of a religious denomination or church can come between a person and their God. Spirituality is also a concept that different people give different meanings to. For me, it means the human striving for a direct experiential relationship with the Most High God and the Divine Family. This relationship can be nurtured and strengthened in many different ways, along many different paths.
The evolution of our consciousness is a continuous strengthening of our relationship with God and our gradual growth back into the "Image and Similitude of God" as He originally created us. This growth or development is not, as we easily rationally think, just some kind of chronological and linear process, but a multidimensional, mystical, paradoxical, collective and most likely already pre-directed purposeful process, which is therefore impossible for our rational, lower mind to understand, let alone accept. It is as difficult as understanding the true Holy Scriptures using only the limited logic of our lower mind, as is strongly evidenced by the endless number of misunderstandings and the use of the Holy Scriptures as a tool of struggle and power. When religious denominations misunderstand their own Holy Scriptures, it is no wonder that scientific and other communities use this as a weapon in their own arguments.
At the forefront of science in many different fields, e.g. in quantum physics, there are researchers who already understand how science without Spirit/Higher Consciousness is like a snake biting its own tail, which always eventually destroys itself. The most important thing for humanity to study in this century is therefore not the brain, but consciousness. The brain does not create consciousness, but the brain, our mind, as well as our entire body, is localized in consciousness. Through the all-encompassing quantum field of consciousness, everything is connected to everything. We can grow in our consciousness, reach ever higher vibrational thought forms and increasingly participate in creating a positive future for us all.
It has also long been common knowledge in the scientific world how the observer affects the observed. It is not far-fetched to think that a researcher who has consciously entered the evolution of consciousness observes different things and in a different way than a researcher who uses only his rational capacity. Modern psychology and therapy have also finally awakened to use methods the roots of which are in various spiritual traditions, although this is not necessarily always known.
Without a loving and accepting attitude - no real connection. Without real connection - no real encounter or constructive interaction. Without real encounter or constructive interaction - no change for the better, no growth and no healing. Loving connection is the basis for healing.
